Mark your calendars for this event. On July 15, 2018, after Sunday Worship Service and our wonderful Fellowship Potluck, we're having our annual Chinese Action. This is a fun event that helps raise funds for the Center of Enlightenment to provide for our community.
The festivities start after services and the fellowship potluck on that Sunday. Each brown paper bag wrapped item(s) is donated by our members, Board of Directors, or Ministers. Some are eagerly bid on. Who knows what is in each package (homemade crafts, artworks, kitchen items, decorations for yard or home) but you’ll have to come, bid, and win to find out. Join us and laugh, try to out-bid your friends, and enjoy a great time. View our PDF Flyer.
Our member, Bridget Morris, created this group as a place and time to provide support and encouragement for women by sharing individual challenges and success in a supportive and confidential setting. The goal of the group is to grow our fellowship with other women by understanding that we are not alone in our experiences in life.
Visit our WoE Page for the schedule and notes on our topics.
July 27, 28 & 29 and August 4 & 5, 2018
There will be books of every genre! There will be books on Spiritualism, Religion, Philosophy, Mystery, Romance, Science Fiction, Humor, History, Biography, Autobiography, Nature, Photography, and Children’s and Young Adult.
Bring your books for donation after June 3rd, 2018 and before July 15th, 2018. Volunteers are needed for sorting.
They should be in good condition, clean, and odor free.
The proceeds go to our Center of Enlightenment Garden Fund. View our PDF Flyer.
Each month, we have a potluck luncheon after the Worship Service on the third Sunday to promote fellowship and discuss the day's speaker and topic, what is going on at the church, and the Philosophy, Science, and Religion of Spiritualism. It is also a great way to meet our ministers and members.
The church provides the main dish, and our members and guests provide a dish to share. We also accept donations for those that are not able to bring a dish but would like to contribute to the luncheon.
Our events at CoE are food for the Body, Mind, and Spirit. Each month, we have a fundrasier for the Center with learning, healing, spirit communcation, and fun on the agenda. It is also a way to meet the ministers and other members to share insight and philosophy.
January was our Board of Directors Induction Service, and April was our Members Induction Service, both led by our Senior Minister Rev. Ken Nowaczewski.

Last year we had an Art Show and Sale. It hosted art from Jackie Gatzmer, and she not only exhibited her art but did a demonstration. The show was such a success that we hosted another and included the talent of Rev. Keith Norton and Fiona Norton with their nature photography, the hand crafts of jewelry by Rev. Barbara Yarnell, and the yarn of Rev. Carol Willis. Our next Art Show and Sale is scheduled for June 1, 2 and 3. View our PDF Flyer.
We have Message Nights, Healing Nights, Lectures, and Game Nights. There are other events throughout the year hosted by our Ministers that feed us, let us get to know our ministerial staff, members, and friends of CoE.
All are welcome.
The Winter months had a wonderful talk from Patty Shaw, author, Reiki Master, and wife to our Rev. David Shaw and an All Message Night. Spring brought Healing Night, Game Night, and a wonderful workshop, Healing the Heart, with Rev. Marie Phillips.
